"As an artist, I try to share the way I see the world around me. I have always intensely loved being outdoors. My paintings reflect that.

Through the use of light and color, I work to portray the way that I see, and feel about the natural world. I agree with the quote by Henry Ward Beecher: “Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his paintings.”

My two loves for subjects are landscapes and horses. I have always loved the outdoors, and loved horses, having ridden most of my life. First and foremost, I create art, whether it be paintings, photography, handpulled prints, or drawings, that I love doing. The subject needs to be something that speaks to me, and draws my attention. I hope to pass the emotions and passion on to other people viewing my artwork.
